Light the Way
We completed our 10th year of Light the Way and signed 160 congregations up for free energy upgrades. We estimate that this program has reached over 15% of MI congregations.

Helping congregations thrive with energy efficiency.
We are currently working with 11 low-income congregations across Michigan to implement $1.1 million ($100,000 each) in energy-saving improvements.
“GM: Can we have faith in you?”
We delivered a letter with 15,000+ signatures to General Motors and were kicked out of the building.
Lansing Solar Home
The Capital Area Chapter completed a 2nd successful project. Read more here: Lansing to see its first-ever all-electric home.
“So the land bank is very excited aboutthis project. We have to think about our climate, and renewable energy, and this is that project,” said Case.
Solar Faithful
We we part of launching a new, spinoff nonprofit: Solar Faithful!
Solar Faithful has completed 6 projects this year and has 60 additional active leads!
Goal: 50% of participants will be BIPOC, low wealth, non-Christian/non-Unitarian.
Trinity AME became the 2nd Black church in Michigan to solarize (through Solar Faithful)!
Lord of Lords was solarized this week through Solar Solidarity!
Climate Conversations
We set a goal in collaboration with Adamah (formerly Hazon) to work with 10 congregations in metro
Detroit to host Climate Conversations and provide $1,000 for a project.
