On Saturday, April 16, Grace Episcopal Church and Cognition Brewing hosted an Easter Egg Hunt in Ishpeming. Brightly colored plastic eggs were placed throughout the church. Children gathered the eggs and traded them for bags of Easter sweets.
In addition to the hunt, there were two rabbits that the children (and adults) could pet, cookies and fruit for snacking, and a community seating area. The children enjoyed everything, but were especially happy with all of the snacks. One girl said that her favorite thing was the powder-sugar cookies.
