Take a Virtual Tour of the Jim Crow Museum.

 

It all happens on Thursday, February 9 on Zoom beginning at Noon and again at 7:00pm eastern time.
 
Miskopwaaganikwe (Leora) Tadgerson , Director of Diversity Equity and Inclusion (Episcopal Diocese of Northern Michigan) will welcome us to the tour and facilitate the conversation following the viewing.
 
This tour and conversation will be for one hour.
 
Teaching Tolerance With Objects of Intolerance
The museum is located on the campus of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI.
 
The Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia is the nation’s largest publicly accessible collection of artifacts of intolerance. The Museum contextualizes the dreadful impact of Jim Crow laws and customs. The Museum uses objects of intolerance to teach tolerance and promote a more just society.
